THE MAYOR OF OXFORD, PA
Geoffrey L. Henry
OXFORD AREA TOWN WATCH

The Oxford Area Town Watch was organized in September 2007.  An interested group of residents from the East Side of the Borough was concerned about the increase in criminal and nusiance activity in their neighborhoods.  As a result, several meetings were held with Mayor and the Chief of Police and from those meetings the residents decided to form a Town Watch Organization to assist the Police in preventing possible criminal activity.  Even though the Town Watch focuses on the East Side of the Borough, it is open to any citizen(s) who want to participate.  The group has purchased 8 signs as seen above which will be located on all the entrances to the Borough.  The signs were acquired through the generous contributions of concerned citizens. The OATW has also purchased 20 smaller signs with grant money from the OPD and concerned citizens.
